100 milioni di pixel, 15 stop di range dinamico e profondità di 16bit in RAW, questi i dati di targa distintivi del nuovo dorso digitale Phase One IQ1 appena presentato alla Photokina 2016.
L'IQ1 è un'edizione "povera" (si fa per dire visti i quasi 27.000 Euro necessari per portarselo a casa), del top di gamma IQ3: non è infatti dotato degli output e del supporto HDMI e Wi-Fi, così come non può registrare foto mentre è in modalità live-view, mancando inoltre lo shutter elettronico.
Sia come sia, si tratta di un back professionale da 100 Megapixel con caratteristiche di resa eccezionali e non è l'unica novità del Prouttore. Lo accompagnano infatti due nuove ottiche "blue ring" per innesto XF: si tratta dello Schneider Kreuznach 45mm LS F3.5 e dello Schneider Kreuznach 150mm LS F2.8 IF.
La sigla "LF", leaf shutter, indica uno specifico tipo di otturatore in uso nel mondo del medio formato in grado di arrivare a valori molto elevati di sincronizzazione con le unità flash: in questo caso, fino ad 1/1.600mo/sec per il 45mm ed 1/1.000mo/sec per il 150mm.
Il prezzo del nuovo IQ1 (XF o H mount) sarà di 26.990Euro, mentre 5.990 Euro e 5.290 Euro saranno le cifre richieste per il 150mm ed il 45mm rispettivamente. Disponibilità per tutti e tre dalla fine del mese di Settembre 2016.
