7. AS SSD Benchmark

 

AS SSD è un benchmark molto semplice ed essenziale non consentendo, infatti, di eseguire personalizzazioni alla modalità di test.

Nel menu strumenti sono disponibili due test aggiuntivi che simulano la compressione di file o la velocità di copia di particolari tipi di dati (ISO, avvio di un programma, caricamento di un videogioco).

AS SSD Benchmark usa esclusivamente dati non comprimibili per eseguire i suoi test, di conseguenza il controller SandForce incluso nell’OCZ Synapse Cache SSD non può esprimere il massimo delle sue potenzialità.

L’utilizzo di NAND asincrone inoltre, non favorisce l’unità OCZ in questa prova.

Le prestazioni in lettura e scrittura dell’unità a disco accelerata con l’SSD di cache OCZ Synapse sono nettamente superiori a quelle fatte registrare dal solo Hard Disk e molto vicine a quelle dell'SSD testato individualmente.
