MSI è presente al Computex con tre nuove motherboard sviluppate sul prossimo chipset Intel P55 e il sito bit-tech ha avuto modo di vedere da vicino il modello GD65.
La scheda si presenta con un tema nero (il pcb) e il blu (alcuni slot).
Dispone di un'alimentazione a sette fasi (sei per la cpu e una per il nb), due fasi Power-PAK MOSFET per le memorie.
La GD65 offre due PCI-Express x8 slots (x16 physical), due PCI-Express x1, un PCI-E x4 e due PCI slots.
Dispone inoltre di sei porte S-ATA e del sistema OC Genie (simile al ROG Chip della Asus) per l'overclock della scheda.
