1. la differenza tra 1 e 2 non è il ricampiona sempre/mai ma l'uscita in dsf piuttosto che in pcm, se vedo bene.
Quello che non funziona può essere, ma che il secondo esca in dop mi pare strano, dovrebbe uscire pcm puro.
a. che tipo di file mandi in riproduzione?
b. mi posti per favore c-3PO.log, sempre nella cartella dei log, in corrispondenza delle due esecuzioni?

Il fatto che stai utilizzando DoP implica due cose:
1) in questo caso il supporto DSD non serve: dal punto di vista di ALSA, quello che sta trattando è normale PCM.
2) in uscita su USB c'è un data-rate doppio rispetto al DSD nativo:
DSD64 si traduce in uno stream PCM (DoP) a 176.4K
DSD128 si traduce in uno stream PCM (DoP) a 352.8K
ecc.
Domande:
Cosa intendi esattamente con "resampling DSD"? Conversione PCM->DSD o "upsampling" DSD->DSD?
A "quanto" può arrivare il tuo DAC / la tua interfaccia? (in PCM)?
A "quanto" stai cercando di uscire?
Se stai cercando di uscire a DSD256, con ogni probabilità in DoP sei già oltre il limite, non ce la può fare...
Se poi il limite della tua interfaccia è 192K, in DoP non ce la fa neanche a 128: il max che puoi fare è 64!
(...in quel caso decisamente non ne varrebbe la pena, molto meglio PCM, ma questo è un altro discorso :-) ).
