Dunque allegherei alcuni estratti del log. La situazione di cui mi parli (pcm 96->dsd128) non ce l'ho nel log, ma dovrei avere il pcm 44->dsd128.
Nelle tendine non mi sembra succeda nulla di particolare.
Questo è il tentativo di riprodurre un pcm 16/44 in dsd128 avendo il direct sdm spuntato, come si può vedere l'effettiva riproduzione avviene a pcm 16/44

Per quanto ho capito al contrario di quelle che sono le intenzioni di Miska, il direct sdm spuntato impedisce l'upsampling in dsd anche se la sorgente non è dsd nativo.
Altra domanda per Miska
Mi dicevi che avviene anche con un altro DAC stereo, quindi i settaggi 8 o 16 ch non c'entrano niente. Confermi?!
Inoltre, avviene sia con WS2012 che Win 10, vero?!
Nel mio impianto, invece, tutto fila liscio: con DirectSDM inserito, tutto il PCM viene convertito a DSD128.
Strano. Tra l'altro a me fa la stessa cosa con PC diverso, OS diverso, DAC diverso e driver diverso.
C'è qualche altro settaggio nascosto?
Altrimenti non so proprio darmi spiegazioni.
