Stadio I/V a tubi o a fet ?.....naturalmente curerai anche una bassa impedenza d'uscita (buffer?)

Come c'era da aspettarsi, sopratutto con questa tipologia di DAC, lo stadio I/V è determinante per un risultato di livello assoluto.
I due NE5532, parenti stretti dei più famosi 5534, fanno parte del kit di DIYINHK solo per una questione formale. In realtà in questo
progetto sono un po sottodimensionati e non nel posto giusto (usati in altri contesti non sfigurano poi tanto, considerando che sono un
progetto risalente almeno ad un quarto di secolo fa).
Comunque, montati gli LT1358 e poi 1355, è venuto fuori un gran Suono. Straconsigliati.

Interessante hai avuto modo di ricavare lo schema della parte analogica ...?

Sembra del tutto simile allo schema riportato nel data sheet del 1704. Due stadi con filtraggio passa basso.

M'era sfuggito, nella pagina ufficiale della Texas Instruments (che ha rilevato la Burr Brown) dedicata a questo DAC, l'angolo
del "Customer Reviews" di cui colpiscono le testimonianze... riporto un esempio:

"I've spent the last 17 years designing and building high end audio equipment. The PCM1704 if by far the best audio dac out there. It has no rivals. This product MUST remain in production. Double the price if you have to, but don't stop production! There is a large group of peope who enjoy perfect audio reproduction and they will be very dissapointed if this dac goes out of production.
Please keep it going!"

Un'altra dimostrazione che la qualità elevata, denunciata dagli utenti, putroppo non interessa a nessuno. E' piu' remunerativo produrre altri chippetti di ben piu' modesto valore
magari facendo entrare in testa che siccome possono trattare il DSD da quel momento il DSD è la nuova frontiera dell'hi-end . L'hi-end si certo....del profitto ad ogni costo
cavalcando la creduloneria degli audiofili. All'audiofilo si puo' propinare qualunque panzana....lui tanto per non sbagliare ci crede ....poi si perplime....poi compra una baggianata peggiore.
Ma alla fine è lui che sceglie e ben gli sta.

Bravo Filippo...ben fatto direi....ricontrolla bene le polarità dei cond. elettolitici prima di dare tensione uno per uno anche due tre volte.

No Giová il chip esce giá saldato ...ricontrolleró tutto....solo che per provarlo devo aspettare qualche settimana...ancora non ho i toroidi...e giovedi parto per una breve vacanza...
