Non saprei....Ma sulla usb dove ho fatto la prova...ieri tutto liscio...stasera riaccendo e ottengo il tuo stesso identico errore....riavvio con il tasto reset e parte...
puó essere quache problema di sincronizazzione con il bios?
poi ho fatto diversi riavvii e sempre ok...tu hai riprovato a riavviare?

mi dispiace, mi devo scusare , sono stato troppo precipitoso. Ho provato il primo suggerimento della modifica di grub e non ha funzionato. La modifica dello script non l'ho fatta perchè non ho sufficiente esperienza e così ho deciso di tentare una nuova compilazione approfittando del fatto che avevo conservato il file di configurazione e che adesso la compilazione risulta molto veloce non creando moduli. Mi sono ripromesso di essere più attento ai messaggi che lo script da.
Se può essere di aiuto tra le cose che ho conservato se la memoria non mi inganna dalla fase iniziale di istallazione c'è il risultato dei comandi lspci, lsmod e lspciv che riporto sotto:

emac, scusa in questi giorni sono stato un po incasinato...se riesci prova cosi:

non trovi piú la scelta tra intel e amd, ma tra config1 e config2. Mi piacerebbe, se riesci e se funzionano, che li provassi entrambi e dirmi se noti delle differenze e se quale é migliore.

Ho concluso la prima tornata di prove per config1 purtroppo il risultato è negativo ecco quello che si ottiene all'avvio
sembra che non trovi la directory root di sdb dove ha installato ma trova solo le due partizioni di sda.
La compilazione impiega due ore: molto veloce.
Non ho tolto niente alla configurazione anche se si poteva dire che c'è una sola cpu.
Prossima tornata di prove è per il fine settimana.

Praticamene il problema che ha avuto emac (in reltá anche io, solo che a me il kernel partiva lo stesso, Cosa che non mi spiego) é questo:

Adesso per ovviare cambio lo script kernelinstall, togliendo l´opzione --kernname e cambiando direttamente nel maakefile EXSTRAVERSION...
Giá testato e perfettamente funzionante sia per RT che per PF.
