Last year, Gigabyte released the first memory drive in PCI. Now we have the DriveBay version for those have limited PCI slot. The design of the DriveBay version and the PCI version is almost the same, yet the DriveBay would also include both power and message indicator, according to Rockson Chiang, Marketing Manager from Gigabyte. I-RAM is still developing. The next generation would have DDR2 and SATAII support, to further boost the performance.

During Computex 2006, Gigabyte also showed a Raid 0 combination of I-RAM with 3 PCI versions and a DriveBay version. It got 433189 marks in PCMark 05 HDD!
